Review
This is an easy-going volume of short stories depicting various characters’ introduction to naturism. Often by surprise or pure necessity.
Although some of the stories’ initial premises are a little flimsy and unlikely, others hold reasonable weight. The situations overall are quite relatable so it’s not an insurmountable task for the reader to set aside their initial skepticism. It is light fiction after all.
The characters in the book are likeable and relatable. I did appreciate this aspect of the narratives. All are fairly believable even if the initial setup seems slightly far fetched.
There’s a good mixture of short sharp stories and some longer ones. None are difficult reading so this would be a great travel book, or something you read in the garden or at the beach.
There are four books in the series so far by the same author. I’m taking a short breather between books to recalibrate. The first story in the second book looks like it follows a similar theme to the stories in the first volume. I am curious to discover what the 3rd and 4th books hold in store.
Conclusion
For a light entertaining read I’d definitely recommend this first volume in the series.
